The Social Care Housing Trust (SCHT) is a “Registered charity in England and Wales" designed to provide affordable and specialised housing opportunities, empowering people with learning disabilities and mental health needs to have their own accommodation and tenancies.
The Trust aims to assist & provide Local Authorities & NHS Primary Care Trusts in locating good quality housing accommodation for people with complex and individualized needs.
The Trust aims to lease, obtain, act as a management agent, or where they are capacity issues, if needs be, we would act as an interim tenant and the service user will become the named occupier, thus ensuring that the Trust advocates the service users wishes, rights and aspirations
